I read this book once and then went right back and read it again. I really like this book. It has taken me a long time to write a review for this book. Every time I sat down to write it I could not find the words to describe why I like this book so much. It is a hard story to read. Both the characters and the love story are deeply flawed! I can honestly say that at many points in the story I was angry with Abby and Travis. I just wanted to smack some sense into them. This is not a fairy tale love story! It is hard and real love story! It is not flowers and sunshine. It is ugly at times. But it is touching and true to both the Characters and the story!
It is a great story to read and reread. It make you believe in the power of Love and the strength it takes to make a true love work. I did not always agree with the decisions the characters make in this story. I did like how they had to work to make the relationship work and struggle to understand not only each other but their own personal demons. It shows that loving someone means loving the best and worst of the person.
